Still in the grips of what we all hope will be the final wave of COVID 19, the Liberals have broken their promise to Canadians that they would not precipitate an election during the pandemic. But here we are. SocialCommons.ca will explore where the parties are on the issues that will create the future that Canadians need and deserve. A future that increases social rights and protections, that addresses inequalities, that builds an economy around meeting human needs and the sustainability of the ecosystem, and that creates a deeper democracy where people and local communities can hold corporate interests to account. The old ways have led to increased inequality and are destroying the planet. It is time for transformative change.
